These SD 60s were purchased from CN where they were retired into storage in ‘good order and running’. CN spent over 1M ea. on restoring each locomotive. The kits for the engines purchased from EMD alone were over 600k ea.

Engines were completely rebuilt to Tier0+ standard. Most/many components were rebuilt or replaced with new.

These units were only in service 2 years after this project was completed .
