85 Ton GE Locomotive

Four years ago, the Cummins 855 diesels were reconditioned out-of-body , and there are photos of the engines' hour meters @ 2194 hours. One year ago, the locomotive was updated electrically with EMD contactors. It has 26 air brakes and roller-bearing trucks. We just began performing the repairs that are required to market this unit. The wheels will be turned and will have substantial treads. The couplers will be repaired to meet AAR standards. It should be ready by September The locomotive ran until 6 months ago when it was replaced by a much larger SW1500.
